Optional apron heaters and air cannon are available on Grand Slam(TM) impactors from Stedman. Customers can tailor the impactor for specific high moisture applications. The apron heaters, with temperature controller included, can be installed on both the primary and secondary aprons of the impactor, making it ideal for minimizing buildup in wet and sticky applications such as clay, shale, fertilizer and chemicals. The air cannon, which is located between the aprons, discharges a blast of air into the crushing chamber to quickly and easily dislodge material buildup in the crushing chamber. The air cannon also significantly reduces cross-color contamination.
