Stedman manufactures a two-stage reduction swing hammer mill for pulverizing, crushing and disintegrating a wide variety of materials. Materials in this unit are disintegrated/shattered by the revolving hammers upon entry and are further reduced by the force of impact against the heavy breaker plates in the cover. Very little sizing of reduced materials is needed later. Different types of hammers are available, depending on the type of material being reduced. Many of the hammers are reversible and offer four wearing surfaces to increase service life and to help lower operational cost.
