Steuben Glass and Major League Baseball (MLB) have teamed up to create a selection of crystal baseball collectibles. Each piece can be customized with 30 MLB team logos. This collection marks Steuben's first entry into the world of major league sports. Highlights include a crystal replica of a MLB bat in life-size, 18 and 14 in. versions; crystal baseballs; and home plates. Other team collectibles include barware, tabletop decor and ornaments.

“Our partnership with Major League Baseball represents a new era in Steuben's rich American history,” said Joey Schottenstein, principal of Steuben. “We want to create modern masterpieces that capture the imagination, excitement and passion of the sports enthusiast and discerning collector.”

“Major League Baseball seeks partners who can deliver the very best for our fans, and Steuben Glass is widely-known for their excellence in glassware around the world,” said Howard Smith, senior vice president, Licensing, Major League Baseball. “Major League Baseball is committed to offering products with a broad range of price points to reach every fan's desires, and the Steuben baseball-themed collection will provide fans unparalleled quality with a touch of their favorite MLB team.”

All pieces in the MLB collection from Steuben are handcrafted, finished and signed in Corning, N.Y. They are created using Steuben’s state-of-the art process, resulting in optically pure crystal.
