Stevenson Specialty Refractories, Inc. (SSR) recently announced the release of a high-cement product line, with several products specifically tailored to meet the needs of the industry. These high-cement products consist of castable, gunnable and pumpable refractories for applications with temperature conditions ranging from 2600-3000F. Typically used in general duty service for the power, hydrocarbon processing, cement and minerals markets, this extended line is part of the company's initial staggered development and product inventory strategy. SSR opened its doors with a set of low- and no-cement refractories marketed especially to the general contractor/installer industry.
