Sweco recently introduced the Magnum(TM) screen, reportedly the most technologically advanced screen in the industry. Designed for increased strength and reliability, the patented Magnum screen reduces downtime and lowers maintenance costs for most users. Evolving from the company¿s ATS(TM) -- Advanced Technology Screen(TM) -- development program, Magnum can be engineered to balance screen life, capacity and blinding (clogging) resistance to obtain the optimum performance for each application. "I have been managing our screen business for many years, and this is the most exciting development I have ever seen," said Brenda Beers-Reineke, director of aftermarket sales. "Virtually every customer asks for longer screen life and the assurance that screen failures are minimized. The Magnum screen answers these requests and does so with no adverse effect on throughput."
