Sweco: Vibration Sensor

Sweco recently developed an economical vibration monitoring system now offered as an option on all of its vibrating equipment. Designed and calibrated specifically for Sweco separators, the sensor signals that there has been a change in vibration amplitude due to a myriad of processing conditions, so technicians can take corrective action before serious production problems occur. Essentially a G-Force acceleration monitor, the custom-calibrated sensor measures forces between 0 and 5Gs and generates a proportionate signal between 4 and 20 milliamps to trigger a monitoring device.
