Swindell Dressler International Co. (SDIC) recently announced that Gregory R. Sullivan has been named vice president-operations. In his new position, Sullivan will be responsible for engineering, procurement, fabrication and construction services, and commissioning activities. A ceramic engineering graduate of Alfred University, Sullivan started with SDIC in 1971. He has held various positions in the company, most recently as sales group manager-structural clay. In addition, Ralph F. Schockert has been named vice president-sales and marketing. With his strong engineering and management background, Schockert brings to SDIC extensive and successful experience in international marketing and sales. Most recently, he was a technical and marketing consultant. Prior to that, he was associated with Keller GmbH, in Laggenbeck, Germany, and was president of Keller's American subsidiary, Arkansas Technology Inc. (Artech).
