TAH Industries Inc. recently announced that the U.S. Patent Office has issued number 6,773,156 for the company's Turbo(TM) disposable, square-geometry static mixer. When comparing the Turbo to other square mixer designs, the patent office examined both geometries and determined the Turbo is a unique and patentable design. TAH's unique geometry uses flow inverters to channel the fluids from the walls into the center of the mixer. In addition, the wedge design eliminates stagnant areas where adhesives can build up and prematurely plug the mixer. The square-geometry ensures superior mixing performance and allows the operator to be closer to the work piece for more accurate applications.
