Taiwan Glass Industry's Lin Receives Phoenix Award

Y.C. Lin, chairman of Taiwan Glass Industry Group, has been named the recipient of the 32nd Phoenix Award, given by the leading suppliers to the glass industry. Lin is recognized in the Asian glass making arena as a leader in the production of float glass, roll glass, tableware, fabric glass, fiberglass and containers. His efforts have brought the latest technology to the glass industry in Asia. The Phoenix Award is presented annually to an individual who has made a noteworthy contribution in the glass industry in the field of science, art, production or education, relating to glass containers, fiberglass, scientific glass, flat glass, tableware and electronic glass.
