Tech Packaging Group, LLC recently introduced its new series 58QP volumetric/weigh feeder. The unit, a flexible and economical feeder that is able to feed a wide range of granular and powdered materials, is designed for easy inspection and cleaning. Standard features include a front cover that removes easily without tools, a direct feed auger drive, a rugged and accurate NTEP weighing system, and a fully digital weighing system with a large LCD display capable of tracking up to 12 independent feeder systems. The feeder's metering capacity ranges from 20 to over 5000 lbs per hour, and available auger sizes range from 1 to 4 in. Optional accessories include motor driven agitators and aeration systems, vibratory feeders, extended hoppers, and bulk bag discharge stands.
