The Tecnargilla Design Awards is a new competition that Tecnargilla is organizing for its 22nd expo, which will be held in Rimini, Italy, from September 27 to October 1, 2010. Prizes will be awarded to companies that present the best designs for future collections of floor and wall tiles using innovative materials, applications and surface decorations that go above and beyond the mere reproduction of effects that can already be achieved with other forms of decoration.
The competing products will be displayed in an exhibition that will offer visitors to the fair a digital angle on innovation in an exploration of the new languages made possible by this technology. Winners will be chosen by an international jury made up of designers, architects and experts in the sector, chaired by a renowned professional.
