Tecnargilla Explores "New Frontiers in Ceramic Materials"

On September 29, prominent figures in technological research will discuss the future of advanced ceramic materials at the Kermat section of Tecnargilla in Rimini, Italy. which promotes the culture of innovation as a key strength for the ceramic sector.

Following the success of past editions, the Kermat section is devoted to technical ceramics and advanced ceramic materials, and will provide an opportunity for debate among leading research experts at the International Forum “New Frontiers in Ceramic Materials.”

Following the opening remarks by Goffredo De Portu (ISTEC CNR Faenza) and Claudio Bertoli, chairman of the Production Systems Department at the Italian National Research Council CNR, addresses will be given by speakers including Mirano Sancin, general manager of the Kilometro Rosso Science and Technology Park, who will discuss innovation as a culture that must be actively disseminated and promoted; Laura Montanaro from the Department of Materials Science and Chemical Engineering of Turin Polytechnic, who will present a research project on emerging functional applications for structural ceramic nanocomposites; and Massimo Mazzer, IMEM-CNR Parma, who will outline the latest advances in the field of solar cells.
