Renowned Florida potter Linda Arbuckle has recently been featured in an educational DVD titled “The Spirit of Ceramics, Volume 6: Linda Arbuckle: Fresh Color on Pottery.” The film was produced by PBS’ Judy Kelly, Henry Saine and Ginny Martin for use by educational television stations across the U.S. During the half-hour DVD, viewers gain access to a firsthand account of Arbuckle's life at home and in the studio. The film also includes interviews with Arbuckle’s friends and colleagues, a demonstration of the artist’s signature glazing techniques, and a slideshow of images of some of her best work.
“The Spirit of Ceramics” DVD series provides a glimpse into the lives of artists who have made important contributions to the world of ceramic art. “Volume 6: Linda Arbuckle: Fresh Color on Pottery” aired on national public television for the first time on July 11.
