The laboratory is equipped with three furnaces, crystal growth capabilities, a spark plasma sintering system, glove box and nanomaterials preparation area. Testing can be performed at a wide range of temperatures on ceramics, glass, metals, composites, polymers and semiconductors. Processes and capabilities are offered in the fields of energy storage, thermoelectrics and diffusion bonding; development of LED and CMH lighting; research in body, vehicle and transparent armor; exploration of electronic materials, such as substrates and sputter targets, and optical materials, including crystals and transparent ceramics; and medical industry utilization for orthodontics, diffusion bonding and biomedical use.
“We are dedicated to solving materials problems for our customers,” said Matt Mede, president, CEO and co-owner. “Our skilled staff participates in the planning, performance and interpretation of on-site materials processing and the safe and efficient operation of laboratory equipment.”
