Thermal Technology Ships Hot Press

Thermal Technology recently announced that it has shipped a 10-ton laboratory hot press to a customer in Eurasia. The model HP20-4560 will be used for research and development applications at a major educational institution. The press was customized to include a graphite hot zone rated to 2300°C, inert gas capability and a diffusion-pumped vacuum system.

“Thermal Technology has a long history of delivering hot presses,” said Matt Mede, president and CEO. “This system includes upgraded force and atmosphere controls, which provide the customer with unique processing capabilities leading to new material development possibilities.”
