Thermo Names Berger President Of Process Instruments

Thermo Electron Corp. has announced that, effective immediately, Ken Berger will become president of the company's Process Instruments Division (PID), which offers online measurement and analytical instruments and associated services to global manufacturers. In his new role, Berger will be responsible for the division's $450 million business and will oversee its 2000 employees. He will be based in Thermo's San Diego, Calif., facility. With more than 20 years of industry experience, Berger most recently served as president of Thermo Electron China, where he was responsible for building Thermo's organization and infrastructure in this rapidly growing region.
