TMS Enjoyed a Successful 2002 Annual Meeting & Exhibition

The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society's (TMS) 2002 Annual Meeting & Exhibition ended as a great success in Seattle, Wash. The meeting took place on February 17-21 at the Washington State Convention & Trade Center. Over 3300 professional engineers and researchers came from 59 countries to attend the 2002 meeting and exhibition in order to expand their knowledge through the 1494 individual presentations that were scheduled in 43 technical symposia. The sessions and individual presentations covered topics relevant to technological developments in materials sciences, minerals processing, primary metal production, basic research, advanced materials applications and metallurgy. The 2003 TMS Annual Meeting & Exhibition will take place at the San Diego Convention Center, March 2-6, in San Diego, Calif.
