dmc² has as many as three calling cards taking part in a miniaturized probe for measuring gas concentrations and mass flows developed by the Institute for Aerospace Systems at the University of Stuttgart (IRS) in conjunction with the Institute for Aviation and Aerospace Technology in Dresden. Being used from the company's range of products are platinum pastes, special types of glass and screen printing media. "FIPEX" type probes have already been operated successfully on Ariane, the Brazilian test rocket VS 30 and the Russian research capsule IRDT. As of 2005, the probe will be used on the international space station ISS.
