U.S. Congressman Glenn “GT” Thompson and Alan Gehringer, executive director of the IMC (Industrial Resource Center) in Williamsport, Pa., recently visited APC International Ltd. The purpose of the visit was to gain an understanding of the role that small- and medium-sized manufacturing businesses will play to bring the U.S. economy out of the current recession and how the IMC, a public-private partnership, can help these manufacturers to find solutions to the problems they face as they begin to expand their operations in response to increasing sales.

APC International gave Thompson a tour of its state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. In addition, he spoke with Ian Henderson, company president, as well as many of the company’s other employees.
