Delbert Day, Ph.D. was recently inducted into the National Academy of Engineering.

Delbert Day, Ph.D., curator's professor emeritus of ceramic engineering in the materials science and engineering department at the University of Missouri-Rolla, was recently inducted into the National Academy of Engineering. Day is recognized for his discovery and development of radiotherapeutic glass spheres that are used to treat liver cancer, among other medical applications.
