Veeco Instruments has announced an OEM agreement with CAPRES to market CAPRES' proprietary microscopic four-point probe (M4PP) technology on Veeco atomic force microscopes (AFMs). The unique microscopic four-point probe combined with AFM technology creates an instrument capable of measuring the resistivity of thin films on a microscopic scale. This will be of particular benefit for those researching and manufacturing new materials in the semiconductor, data storage and conducting polymers markets, as well as for those involved in microscale electrical conductivity research in a host of other applications.
