MoreSacmi recently supplied equipment for the expansion of Vitra's BoZuyk plant, which increased the company's output by one million pieces per year to 6.2 million. Sacmi supplied a fiber-lined TW tunnel kiln with 12-hour firing cycles, a fiber-lined SSK shuttle kiln in which the temperature is homogenized to within a tolerance of 5ºC, and five Gaiotto GA2000 glazing robots featuring the mass control system to optimize glaze application. The increase in output capacity was needed to respond to growing internal demand, which has increased significantly over the last two years.
