W. S. Tyler's Particle Analysis Group recently introduced its Haver/Tyler dynamic image analyzer to the North American market at the CONEXPO-CON/AGG Exhibition in Las Vegas, Nev. The newest member of Haver/Tyler's computer particle analyzer (CPA) family, the new analyzer incorporates the technology to analyze particle size and geometry instantly, accurately and repeatedly. This unit blends different size materials to meet a pre-established mix ratio specification and can be designed into an on-line system to operate continuously in an automatic mode. W. S. Tyler and partner Haver & Boecker have successfully installed CPA machines worldwide in aggregate and industrial quarries, as well as cement, coal, activated carbon, plastics, fertilizer, food and chemical applications. A CPA model is also available for laboratory use.
