WBB MINERALS recently announced that it has appointed Trimex International as its new agent for the U.A.E., Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Oman. Trimex is to become responsible for the sale into these markets of all WBB ceramic clays from throughout the WBB MINERALS Group. Dubai-based Trimex International FZE is one of the leading industrial minerals suppliers in the Middle East region. With an annual turnover of US $70 million, the Trimex Group handles almost 1.5 million tonnes of minerals each year. Trimex operates mineral processing and distribution facilities in Dubai at Jebel Ali. "We were very happy to reach an agreement with Trimex, as they have an excellent reputation in the industrial minerals markets of the Middle East region," said Ron Shuttleworth, commercial director for WBB MINERALS' ceramics and minerals operations. "They have impressive capabilities, which will help to realize WBB MINERALS' commitment to total support 'on the customer's doorstep.'
