Wienerberger AG recently announced it was recognized by construction sector decision-makers in Germany and North America with the Architects’ Darling award for energy efficiency. Architecture and planning firms were asked to name their favorite manufacturers in the German-speaking countries, as well as the company that offers the best products and solutions in the individual trades and construction areas. More than 1800 architects and designers voted to award Wienerberger gold in the category for energy efficiency from a selection of 200 producers and brands in the construction industry. The Architects’ Darling Awards comprise five awards for design, accessible housing, energy efficiency, innovation and sustainability, as well as product awards in 17 categories such as roof, façade, and windows.
