Semmelrock, a 75% subsidiary of Wienerberger, recently received approval for the combination of Ebenseer and Semmelrock paver activities.

The management of Semmelrock International, a 75% subsidiary of Wienerberger AG, recently received approval of cartel authorities for the combination of Ebenseer and Semmelrock paver activities in Austria. “We welcome the positive decision and the release of the planned joint venture,” said Johann Windisch, responsible member of the managing board of Wienerberger AG, and Robert Holzer, managing director of Semmelrock International, on the results of the cartel examination. “This transaction not only represents a strategic step to improve competitive ability and bundle expertise. It also means even better service for our customers through the extension of our product offering and the optimization of the plant network and key corporate functions such as sales, distribution and logistics.”
