The new S4 Explorer X-ray spectrometer is now available. The unit combines the advantages of a sequential wavelength dispersive spectrometer, including high reproducibility and sensitivity for light element analysis, with the advantages of an energy dispersive X-ray spectrometer—space savings and cost efficiency. Providing a non-destructive and environmentally safe analytical method for multi-element analyses, the S4 Explorer offers straightforward sample preparation. Installation and operation costs are minimal, since the unit does not require P-10 gas, water or air.
