In last week’s CI CyberNews CyberPoll, we asked readers if Republican control of the U.S. House of Representatives would be good for business. Most of the respondents (56.8%) answered yes; no votes garnered 24.3% of the total, and the remainder (18.9%) answered unsure.
Reader comments included:
“It is not what party is in office that is good or bad for business. Both mainstream political parties are pro-business. It is the uncertainty of the pending regulations that stunt growth in any organization. The politicians should do what they are going to do already and get on with it. We will adapt, leave, or die.”
“Probably good for a few large, well connected (paid their bribes) companies, probably bad for small businesses, probably disastrous for consumers & employees.”
“One thing that is reasonably sure, the Republican’s likely won’t be any worse than the do-nothing-but-cause-trouble Democrats!”
“It’s the same bunch that presided over the last disaster, with the same fraudulent claims that tax cuts for the uber-wealthy will help business.”
