In last week’s CI CyberNews CyberPoll, we asked readers if the U.S. Postal Service’s announced changes to first class mail service will affect their business. Most of the respondents (64.7%) answered no, while 23.5% do expect some change and the remainder (11.8%) are unsure.
Comments included: “We’ll pay a little more (%) for first class mail, but that isn’t a large expense for us to begin with.”
“Mail delivery on Mon/Wed/and Fri would be sufficient.”
“Most business is done either electronically or, for the case of printed matter, sent via UPS or Fedex.”
“The Post Office just never got it right. Just another case of government not capable of running a business. How hard was it to see the impact of email coming?”
