Bringing Manufacturing Back: American Mug and Stein Earns Starbucks Contract

I’m always happy to share good news on the manufacturing front, particularly when it concerns a company in our industry. Instead of sourcing its Indivisible series of mugs from an overseas manufacturer, Starbucks has turned to East Liverpool, Ohio-based American Mug and Stein. The contract has been a lifeline for American Mug, which had been struggling to stay afloat.

Could this be the start of a real trend to bring manufacturing back to the U.S.?
