Do you plan to spend more during the upcoming holiday season? If so, you might be the exception and not the rule.

Last week’s CI CyberNews CyberPoll asked our readers about their anticipated level of holiday spending this year. Answers broke down as follows:

I plan to spend the same amount: 50%
I plan to spend less: 44.4%
Not sure: 5.6%
I plan to spend more: 0%

One reader commented, “I’ve been spending less money at Christmas for many, many years. (I’m also so tired of all this politically correct Happy ‘Holidays’ nonsense; from my perspective it is, and always will be, CHRISTMAS!!) Christmas is not all about spending and gift giving! Spend less; you and your bank account will feel better for it!”

Many thanks to all of the CI CyberNews readers who have participated in our CyberPolls. Not a CI CyberNews subscriber? Follow this link to sign up for your free subscription!
