Will the full-body scanners being installed in various U.S. airports change the way you travel?

Last week’s CI CyberNews CyberPoll asked readers if the full-body scanners being installed in various U.S. airports will change the way they travel. Responses broke down as follows:
  • No, it’s just part of travel: 61.3%
  • Yes, I will find an alternate mode of transport: 32.3%
  • Unsure: 6.4%
Comments included:

“The ones who cry the loudest about the scans will also scream the loudest if we stop the scans and then have another terrorist incident that could have been prevented with the scans.”

“I cancelled a trip last week because of this garbage. “

“I had breast cancer and have a prosthetic. I don't want to have to take it out to prove I am not a terrorist.”

“I really hope that Ron Paul's proposal for American Traveler Dignity gains some traction.”
