According to a recent Manufacturing ISM Report on Business, economic activity in the manufacturing sector expanded in October for the 15th consecutive month, and the overall economy grew for the 18th consecutive month. In last week’s CI CyberNews CyberPoll, we asked readers if they are optimistic that growth will continue into 2011.

The majority of respondents are optimistic, to some degree. Responses broke down as follows:
  • Somewhat optimistic: 50.0%
  • Very optimistic: 35.0%
  • Neither optimistic nor pessimistic: 10.0%
  • Not optimistic at all: 5%
