Welcome to the 2012 Fuel Cell Seminar & Exposition! The Fuel Cell Seminar & Exposition (FCS&E) provides an exciting opportunity to learn about and experience the latest advances in fuel cell and hydrogen research, development and demonstration/application.
Last year, we celebrate 35 years as a forum for researchers and developers alike to share new findings, as well as successes and failures, within the hydrogen and fuel cell community. The Seminar, founded in 1976, has grown along with the industry in terms of the numbers of participants; the numbers of demonstrations of fuel cells; and the state-of-the-art of the technology. Through our extensive technical program and exciting exposition featuring international partners, the FCS&E showcases the importance of hydrogen and fuel cells in the development of energy strategies that reduce or eliminate greenhouse gas and pollutant emissions.
With exhibitors from around the world, the 2012 Exposition will certainly provide attendees with a global perspective of the market. The Exposition allows attendees to touch real fuel cell systems and components and it provides the opportunity to network with leaders of the international hydrogen and fuel cell industry.
Attendees will also continue to enjoy several of the educational opportunities for which the Fuel Cell Seminar & Exposition has become known, including technical poster presentations, short courses and day-trips. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes will be awarded to posters exhibited at this year's Seminar along with the Dr. Bernard S. Baker Student Awards.
Back again this year is the ever popular Women in Fuel Cells Luncheon, which celebrates women who demonstrate excellence within the fuel cell community and provides a unique networking opportunity. Networking is one of the essential missions of the FCS&E. Meet with and get to know the rest of the hydrogen and fuel cell community during our Welcome and Industry Receptions!
On behalf of the 2012 Fuel Cell Seminar & Exposition Program Committee, we look forward to your participation in the 2012 Fuel Cell Seminar & Exposition in Connecticut!
