With an anticipated annual growth rate of 4-7% for 2003 and into 2004, the outlook for the screenprinting and graphic imaging industry is excellent, according to the latest "Industry Profile Study" released by the Screenprinting & Graphic Imaging Association International (SGIA). According to the SGIA, the study is the industry's most comprehensive demographic analysis. Historically conducted every four years, portions of the study will now be updated regularly. "Interest in purchasing new equipment is strong," said Al Anderson, the association's vice president of Education and Management Services, who coordinated the study. "And 80% of participating companies have either maintained or added employees to their workforce."

All companies participating in the current "Industry Profile," as well as members of the association's Suppliers Council, will receive a free copy of the "Industry Profile Study Report." Non-participating SGIA-member companies may purchase it for $95, while the cost for non-participating, non-member companies is $195. To order or for additional information, call (703) 385-1335, fax (703) 273-0456 or e-mail assist@sgia.org .
