Joe Gilmore has been appointed plant manager of Pickard China. He replaces John Hedberg, who recently retired after 27 years with the company. Gilmore has served as the company's assistant plant manager for the past 17 years, with responsibility for pottery operations, raw materials and all plant maintenance. "The consistent quality of our products and the consistent caliber of our people have enabled Pickard to evolve over the last 108 years as one of the finest traditions in America," said Eben Morgan, president. "Joe is among the loyal and talented staff members who have worked together to provide a sound foundation for Pickard's success."
