North American Announces Dates for Combustion Seminar

North American Mfg. Co. recently announced the dates for its "Combustion and Control Seminar, with an Emphasis on Kilns and Dryers in the Ceramic Industry." The seminar will be held March 10-12, 2003, at the Harvey Hotel in Irving, Texas. The course is designed for those who use combustion in their processes, with an emphasis on the ceramic industry. It is applicable for operators, engineers, operations personnel or others involved in heat processing. Some of the topics to be discussed include "Basics of Combustion;" "Fuel Handling: Natural Gas, Propane, Oils, Waste Fuels;" "Burners and their Applications;" "Heat Transfer in Processes;" "Air Supplies: Blowers, Filters, Silencers;" Fuel/Air Ratio Controls;" "Flow Control Devices;" and "Metering." Seminar leaders include North American's Fred McMann, Midwestern regional manager; Bruce Abe, process and controls specialist; and J. J. Lukacs, industry coordinator Ceramics, Combustion & Process Controls.

The cost of the seminar is $515 per person and includes the three-day seminar, materials, breakfasts, lunches, breaks, one reception and dinner Monday night. Travel, hotel and all other expenses are to be paid directly by participants. For more information, visit http://www.NAMFG.com .
