Eurotherm/Barber-Coleman has introduced its model 7100L, a new solid state contactor for use with low temperature coefficient resistive loads. The 7100L is the first model to be introduced from the company's new series 7000 range of power products. The series 7000 range offers a new modern appearance, uniform ergonomics, and exceptional performance and quality. The 7100L is a rugged, fixed build, single-phase solid state contactor rated from 80 to 100 amps, 100 to 500 VAC with an AC or DC control input. The unit features integral heat sinks with AC or DC logic inputs for fast switching, which allows for the reduction of thermal cycling of the heating elements and results in longer element life.
