CSC Scientific Co., Inc. recently announced the availability of KEM's heat flow meters, which are used worldwide for the accurate determination of heat flow. The HFM-215 multiple point heat flow meter can process data from up to 12 different sensors and show the results on its 5.5-in. colored digital display through data logging setup, trend or bar graph. The unit is set up to make data processing simple, with e-mail and web capabilities, an ethernet feature, standard floppy disc drive and data capture software. By testing beyond temperature alone, the meter enables the evaluation and management of thermal insulation, energy control, and the in/out balance of heat flow.
