BOC recently made two appointments in its Glass Technologies Group. Steve Eckhardt was named director, global glass business development, and Steve Hope was appointed key customer executive. The BOC Glass Technologies Group is a team of glass industry experts focused on delivering advanced melting technologies and environmental solutions to glass manufacturers. Eckhardt brings finance, marketing, product management and sales experience developed in various positions within BOC, including a previous role with the Glass Technologies Group. He will focus on the critical business development activities within the global glass market. Steve Hope has more than 14 years of sales, marketing, engineering and management experience gained in the industrial gases and refractory industries. He will be responsible for managing relationships with key customers in the glass industry.
