Unifrax Announces Senior Executive Changes
Unifrax I LLC recently announced that Duncan Yardley (shown) and John Dandolph have been promoted to new roles within the company, effective July 1. Unifrax is majority owned by affiliates of American Securities LLC.
Yardley will assume the newly created position of executive vice president and chief operating officer. He will be directly responsible for the company’s operating segments; Emission Control, Thermal Management, and Specialty Fibers; as well as the Research and Development, Engineering, and World Class Manufacturing activities. Yardley joined the company in 1991 and progressed through various functional and leadership roles. His most recent assignment was as senior vice president for Specialty Fibers and World Class Manufacturing. Prior to that, he served as senior vice president for Europe and Africa. Yardley is a graduate of Cambridge University.
Dandolph will assume the newly created position of executive vice president and chief financial and strategy officer. He currently serves as senior vice president and chief financial officer of the company, a role he’s held since December 2013. In addition to his current responsibilities, Dandolph will lead the company’s strategy development, risk management, information technology, and acquisition activities. His responsibilities will include oversight of the company’s investment in Luyang Shandong Share Co. (a publically listed company on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange), of which Unifrax owns 29%. Dandolph serves on the board of Luyang. Prior to joining Unifrax, he held various financial and general management positions with General Electric and Momentive Performance Materials, serving most recently as president of Momentive’s Silicones and Quartz Division. He is a graduate of Boston University.
