Micromeritics’ Jagiello to Serve on CESEP Advisory Board
Jacek Jagiello, Ph.D., senior scientist with Micromeritics Instrument Corp., will be a member of the International Advisory Board for the inaugural International Conference on Carbon for Energy Storage/Conversion and Environment Protection (CESEP). CESEP 2015, which will be held October 18-22 in Poznan, Poland, will provide a forum to discuss carbon-related topics, bringing together scientists, engineers, and technologists from all over the world. The conference will include keynote lecturers by well-known speakers, oral presentations and scientific posters. This is Jagiello’s second invitation to participate as a board member and his fifth time being a lecturer.
Jagiello received his master’s degree in chemistry from Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland, with a specialty in quantum chemistry. He received his doctorate in chemistry at M. Curie-Sklodowska University, Lublin, Poland, studying the thermodynamics of physical adsorption on heterogeneous surfaces.
