CoorsTek to Build New Center for Advanced Materials
CoorsTek is investing $120 million to create a new Center for Advanced Materials in Golden, Colo. This investment will reportedly support the rapid development of new materials and therefore help CoorsTek technology and manufacturing customers solve their toughest challenges with the high-performance properties of advanced ceramics. The CoorsTek Center for Advanced Materials will include: a state-of-the-art research and development hub outfitted with leading-edge equipment to develop innovative ceramic materials and processes for a variety of next-generation applications; a sophisticated analytical laboratory to provide the comprehensive ceramic analyses; and a world-class materials manufacturing facility to enable swift commercialization and volume production using the latest technologies in advanced ceramic processing.
