glasstec 2018 to Feature New Start-Up Zone
The Start-Up Zone will provide opportunities to present ideas to an expert audience, make contacts, start networks and meet a large number of decision makers.
glasstec 2018, International Trade Fair for Glass Production, Processing and Products, will be held October 23-26 at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany. A new feature at this 25th edition of glasstec will be the Start-Up Zone for young, international companies from the glass sector. The Start-Up Zone will provide opportunities to present ideas to an expert audience, make contacts, start networks and meet a large number of decision makers. The Start-Up Zone will be located in hall 10, along with glass technology live and the glasstec conference.
As of nine months before the start of glasstec 2018, the number of registered exhibitors and occupied exhibition space was almost as high as at the previous event. At glasstec 2016, 1,237 companies from the glass machinery manufacturing, glass industry and skilled crafts sectors occupied 688,900 sq ft of exhibition space, with 71% coming from outside Germany. A special feature at glasstec 2018 will again be the North American Pavilion, organized by Messe Düsseldorf North America (MDNA) and co-sponsored by the National Glass Association (NGA).
