Judy Weisseg, formerly senior director of human resources, has been promoted to vice president of human resources.
“Realizing our vision of being ‘the first and only call for industry’ requires excellence in execution across our entire enterprise,” said Carol Jackson, chairman and CEO. “As Brad leads our legal department and Judy leads our human resources team, they continuously demonstrate outstanding stewardship of that excellence. Both are highly aligned and engaged leaders with superior functional expertise. At HWI, we’re committed to ensuring that the composition and capabilities of our senior leadership team are strong and that we recognize the contributions of these leaders.”

At HWI, Weisseg has reportedly demonstrated exemplary expertise and service in human resources for almost 20 years. She is responsible for strategy and execution across all areas of human resources, including benefits, compensation, employment, employee relations, labor relations, training and development, and HR’s information systems.
Weisseg joined HWI in 1999 as director of compensation and benefits. Under Weisseg’s leadership, HWI has restructured and updated virtually all aspects of its human resources products and services for employees. In addition, the company has been named “Healthiest Employer in Western PA” for five consecutive years by the Pittsburgh Business Times Journal.
