Acme Brick Opens New Showroom and Warehouse in Arkansas
The “educational” open house began with seminars at 10 a.m. and continued until 4:45 p.m., with multiple programs aimed at architects, builders, masons, and landscapers.
Acme Brick recently opened a new showroom and warehouse in Springdale, Ark. Company executives, including Dennis Knautz, president and CEO, and Springdale dignitaries, including Mayor Doug Sprouse, were on hand for a ribbon-cutting ceremony followed by a lunch of “burgers and brats.”
The “educational” open house began with seminars at 10 a.m. and continued until 4:45 p.m., with multiple programs aimed at architects, builders, masons, and landscapers. A variety of building products were demonstrated, and Acme’s many offerings for outdoor living were on display.
“We wanted to take this opportunity to tell our customers about the many products we can offer them in addition to quality brick,” said Greg Spencer, Acme’s Springdale manager.
Acme established its first Northwest Arkansas sales presence about 40 years ago. Since then, the nine-county service area has tripled in population, from 186,000 in 1970 to well over half a million today. To keep pace with this growth, Acme has increased brick production and added a variety of products.
The new 6,256-sq-ft showroom/office and 14,494-sq-ft warehouse sit on 5.78 acres of property that provides ample customer parking. “This new facility is a demonstration of our confidence in the growth potential for this dynamic region of Arkansas,” said Knautz.
