Wade Ceramics Supports Potters ‘Arf Marathon with Custom Decanters and Coasters
Eight ceramic decanters were awarded to the winners of the male and female relay races, while ceramic coasters were given to to each competitor who crossed the finish line.
Bespoke ceramic manufacturer Wade Ceramics supported the recent Hanley Economic Building Society’s Potters ‘Arf Marathon by crafting eight decanters that were awarded to the winners of the male and female relay races as their trophies. In addition to the decanters, Wade also designed and manufactured a commemorative ceramic coaster to be gifted to each competitor who crossed the finish line as part of their celebratory package.
“As a proud Staffordshire business, everyone at Wade is so delighted to have been involved in such a wonderful, local event for the past three years,” said Paul Farmer, OBE, Wade Ceramics’ managing director. “The Hanley Economic Building Society’s Potters ‘Arf Marathon is something for the whole community to get behind, and it is so rewarding to be given the opportunity to help make it such a big success. Congratulations to all the entrants of the race and to the deserving winners.”
The Potters ‘Arf Marathon is reportedly the biggest race in the Stoke-on-Trent area. Established in 2005, the event has grown over the years and now attracts around 2,000 competitors from all over the country.
