Lucideon Announces Whitewares Training Courses
Lucideon’s whitewares training modules are designed to be interactive and cover topics such as kiln firing, glaze and glaze applications, pressure casting, and spray drying.
Lucideon has released a new set of training modules for the whitewares industry. Designed for anyone involved in the manufacture of tableware, tile or sanitaryware, as well as retailers and suppliers of raw materials, the training runs from August to November.
The training modules are designed to be interactive and cover topics such as kiln firing, glaze and glaze applications, pressure casting, and spray drying. Courses are delivered at Lucideon’s headquarters in Stoke-on-Trent, but customized training can also be held at a company’s site or online through tailored webinars.
“Our courses are practical and hands-on, something that attendees have told us they find particularly appealing,” said Caroline Mullington, training manager. “This year, following suggestions from the industry, we’ve introduced three new modules, ‘Introduction to Everyday Ceramic Calculations,’ ‘Rheology-Fluid Properties Control in Ceramics’ and ‘Spray Drying.’ Our course leaders are all experts in their field and, with over 100 years’ experience in ceramics, delegates can be sure that they’ll receive all the theoretical and practical knowledge they’ll need to overcome day-to-day challenges.”
