Ferro and Dip-Tech to Launch New Technologies and Inks at glasstec 2018
During glasstec 2018, Ferro and Dip-Tech will showcase their joint offerings for glass printing, presenting dedicated solutions for architectural, automotive, appliance and container glass.
Ferro and its Dip-Tech business recently announced their joint participation in glasstec 2018 in Dusseldorf, Germany, October 23-26, at the Dusseldorf Messe hall 12, stand B49. During the event, Ferro and Dip-Tech will showcase their joint offerings for glass printing, presenting dedicated solutions for architectural, automotive, appliance and container glass, including new technologies that expand business opportunities for their customers.
Ferro and Dip-Tech will use the glasstec platform to unveil a dedicated digital glass printing solution for the appliances market. Demonstrations of the technology will take place in a closed area within the booth.
Throughout each day of the show, Dip-Tech will run live demonstrations of the new version of its Nera D glass printer for architecture and design applications, now enhanced with an inline process for industrial batches and a smart dryer. Booth visitors will also get to try the new Visualizer, a visual sales tool that is reportedly easily implemented on any website, which allows glass processors’ customers (architects, interior-designers and end users) to see in advance how printed glass will look in the specific target environment.
Ferro and Dip-Tech will also showcase printed glass applications that leverage the best of screen and digital print combined, for inspiration and providing a definitive, real-world demonstration of what a comprehensive solution can achieve. In addition, during selected hours, Eyal Porat, architect and author of the “Dip-Tech Projects” book, will be on hand and giving away signed copies to visitors.
“With hundreds of printers in more than 60 countries and tens of thousands of printed projects worldwide, Dip-Tech continues to be the driving force in moving digital glass printing from a niche market to a must-have, and from short-run to serial production,” said Alon Lumbroso, manager for Digital Glass at Ferro and managing director of Dip-Tech. “glasstec marks many firsts for Dip-Tech, including revolutionary technology for the appliances market, a new, fully automated, dedicated printer for automotive, and a new-version printer with the highest throughput for architecture. Those looking for ideas or practical advice are welcome to stop by our booth and explore how we can help them compete and thrive with digital glass printing.”
