AMETEK Land India Opens New Service and Calibration Facility
The new Jamshedpur facility will calibrate instrumentation in the laboratory for temperature ranges from 50-1,500°C and on site from 0-1,200°C.
AMETEK Land recently announced that it has opened a new service and calibration facility in Jamshedpur, India, to service its customers in the country's north, east and central regions. With this opening, AMETEK Land now has two calibration centers in India; the other facility is located in Bangalore in the southern region of the country.
The new Jamshedpur facility will calibrate instrumentation in the laboratory for temperature ranges from 50-1,500°C and on site from 0-1,200°C. The calibration of an instrument at one of AMETEK Land’s centers in India helps to ensure continued compliance of an instrument with a traceable certification. It also provides the user with a better insight into an instrument’s long-term performance, aiding process stability to improve the quality of results and potentially minimize expenses.
“We are really proud to open a second service and calibration center in India,” said Prasath Venkatasamy, national service manager for AMETEK Land in India. “We now have held NABL accreditation in India for three years, and this new center allows us to further expand our services and offer greater convenience to our customers. Temperature measurement instruments need to be calibrated periodically to ensure their accuracy and maintain the highest quality performance standards. The new Jamshedpur center means we will be better able to service our customers in the northern and eastern regions and beyond.”
